Elf, Aquatic

Also called sea elves, these creatures are water-breathing cousins to land-dwelling elves. They are mortal enemies to the Sahuagin, who seek to eradicate them from existence. They are typically isolationists, but not recluses; they bear no ill will towards outsiders though they are wary. Aquatic elven communities are very tightly-knit, as they depend on one another for survival. Though they are a cautious folk they are also very curious, and are not above observing outsiders in secret. They have a close relationship with dolphins and guppers, often keeping them as pets.

Sea elves are taller than their land cousins, and have long slender webbed fingers and toes. Their skin ranges from greens, blues, silvery, to pallid whites; some even have mottled splotches, stripes, and spots. Their hairs also vary between greens, blues, and blacks. Aquatic elves typically are either lightly clad or wear no clothes at all, as they appreciate their mobility. Their clothes are formed from underwater plants and made with intricate designs in shades of black, brown, and green.
