Education feats are feats for characters who have gotten a formal education. Only characters who have at least one rank in a Knowledge skill may qualify for [Edu] feats. Each [Edu] feat grants a +1 bonus to all Knowledge checks.

Bard College Educated [Edu]

  • Prerequisites: INT 11, 3 ranks in a Perform skill
  • Benefit: You may choose a major, (Song, Dance, or Storytelling). Each major provides a +3 competence bonus on their relative skill checks (Perform Sing, Dance, and Oratory, respectively). Additionally, Arcane Spell Failure chances are lowered by 5%. Finally, you may also choose 6 skills and treat them as class skills forevermore.

Brain Blast [Edu]

  • Prerequisite: 13 Int, any Edu feat
  • Benefit: As a standard action, with great mental strain you may launch a bolt of pure brain power from your head. This bolt is treated a ray that deals 1d6 + 1/2 Intelligence modifier bludgeoning damage, and has a range of 10 ft per 2 character levels. If you are wearing armor, this ray is subject to the Arcane Spell Failure chance of the armor. This ability may be used any number of times a day.

Cleric University Educated [Edu]

  • Prerequisites: INT 11, 4 Ranks in Knowledge (Religion)
  • Benefit: Choose a major(cleric domain). You may choose two divine 0 level spells and one 1st level spell from that Domain's spell list, and you may cast them each 1/day as a Spell Like Ability that uses your WIS modifier to determine save DCs. Your caster level is equal to your character level
  • Special: A cleric who chooses this feat may only select a major(domain) given by their deity, though if they have chosen a major that is the same as one of their chosen domains they may adopt a third domain.

Educated [General, Fighter]

  • Prerequisites: Must have been formally schooled
  • Benefit: You may qualify for feats as if your Intelligence score were 3 points higher. Also, you may choose a Knowledge and treat it as a class skill for you.
  • Special: You may take this feat multiple times, its effects stack.

Fighter Academy Educated [Edu], [Fighter]

  • Prerequisites: INT 11
  • Benefit: You may ignore the ability score prerequisites for Fighter feats. You must still meet all the other prerequisites.

Valedictorian [Edu]

  • Prerequisites: INT 17, Must be a Specialist Wizard, Wizard College Educated
  • Benefit: Once per day as an immediate action you may increase the save DC of a spell from your chosen school by 2. Additionally, when writing a spell from your school into your spellbook there is a 15% chance that it does not consume the reagents used to write it in.

Wizard College Educated [Edu]

  • Prerequisites: INT 11, age must be at least halfway between adult and middle aged
  • Benefit: You may choose two 0 level spells and one 1st level spell from the Wizard spell list, and you may cast them each 1/day as a Spell Like Ability that uses your INT modifier to determine save DCs. Your caster level is equal to your character level.
  • Special: If you are an arcane spellcaster who either uses a spellbook or spontaneous casts, you do not gain the spell-like abilities. Instead, spellcasters with a spellbook may add these spells to their spellbooks for free. Spontaneous arcane casters can instead add these to their spells known.
