The creature begins to resonate at a harmonic frequency. An Attuned creature takes a -2 penalty on saves against spells or effects with the Sonic descriptor. If another effect would make the character Attuned again, they become Deafened instead (removing the Attuned condition).

Characters who are Deafened or have an immunity or resistance to Sonic cannot be Attuned.
